The Restaurant Tast was born in 2006 in Es Mercadal by the hand of Colau, who has a long and great trajectory in the world of restoration.
In 2012, Chef Pachi Allegue joined the project, contributing his extensive knowledge in avant-garde cuisine.
Following the purpose of combining the Mediterranean culinary tradition of “s’illa d’es vent” with the most current gastronomic trends, managing to surprise its customers

Mercadal is a little traditional village with quaints streets. It is located in the center of the island, at the foot of Monte Toro, the highest spot of the island. It has 134 square kilometers of land and it is a reference point for every destination or meeting point. Out of the old part of town, going to the north it is Fornells, port of fishermen with great touristic and maritime appeal, a place not to be missed. Beaches such as Pregonda, Cavallería, Son Parc with its court, Arenal d’en Castell or Macaret complete the beauty of its landscape.
